Hello, Let me give a very quick background. We have developed a linux driver that has been tested on the emulator successfully. This driver basically exposes cool/new security features of the ARM processor that any apps can use.
We are facing problems making the driver work on hardware. Appreciate help on the following. Will promise to post a summary of the learnings if found useful to the community. 1. Does the linux kernel on hardware support loadable modules ? If not what is the way around it ? 2. How do we get access to the root directories to install our files ? Probably the real question is how do we develop, install and deploy new kernel level drivers on Android. Did look around quite a bit but could not find anything ...
