Nicu,

I'm experiencing a problem with regards to ethernet interface... and
wondered if this is expected behavior or if I am missing something.

I've noticed that generally when ethernet is plugged in on boot, it
grabs remembered setting for dhcp and fetches the appropriate ip/
gateway/subnet/dns, but if I temporarily yank ethernet, and come back
later and plug it back in... it seems to report no route to host...
until (at least it seems that way) I go back into preferences hit dhcp
and save.

Is there anything in your patches designed to watch the selected
interface for connected/disconnected events and try to refresh dhcp
and/or arp broadcasts? If so, can you point me in the correct
direction so I can try seeing where patching may have gone awry there.

Thanks in advance!
