Dear android community,

I am currently customize android on a platform (pandaboard), and I need to
configure a GPIO to control the screen state, i.e. to allow to switch from
screen on to screen off.
Indeed, for the moment the only way to come back in screen on is to use the
mouse, but I would like to remove it because I want to use a touchscreen.
Thus, I would like to use a bottom (GPIO) in the PandaBaord to manage the
screen state.

Does anybody could explain me how to associate a gpio the screen control ?
Does it impact both Android system and kernel images ?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Jean-Marc
