like ssh? pretty standard with nearly every custom rom...providing you have
root access, though enabling your phone as a server is a little more
involved, not to mention the security risks of leaving a static port open
24/7. There are android based apps that allow you to lock the sim (if your
carrier uses one), or text you back its location/enable gps. I believe these
most of these apps require root as well. Remote Web Desktop, Lazydroid,
Norton Connect, SwiFTP, PAWS are all apps that offer various levels of
remote content and accessibility, though none are especially secure.
