Hi everyone, With Lollipop we can make an App Device-Owner by installing a master-app on a master-device, that will trigger the slave-app to install as device-owner on the slave-device when the latter is still in unprovisionned state. This is done by NFC direct contact : the master-device sends the NFC stuff to the slave-device... All of this is more or less documented, but seems to work fine.
However I was wondering if that was possible, for the exact same procedure, to replace the master-device and its master-app by a simple NFC tag or badge, in which we would have written the same data (NDef) that is sent from the master-app... The main idea behind this would be to be make such an install without the need to have 2 devices with NFC etc. Does anybody know if this is theorically doable ? Or better did anyone do it ?
