print of webpages looks terrible -------------------------------- Key: SITE-45 URL: http://jira.andromda.org/browse/SITE-45 Project: Website Type: Improvement
Reporter: Stefan Bachert Assigned to: Wouter Zoons On the page http://galaxy.andromda.org/docs-3.1/andromda-cartridges/index.html there are some xml fragments. When I print the page the result is unreadable. This happens with firefox and IE as well. 1) The fundamental problem is the lack of a .css for media print. Make sure that there is an own .css for print <link rel="stylesheet" href="./style/maven-andromda.css" type="text/css" media="screen" title="default"></link> <link rel="stylesheet" href="./style/maven-andromda-pr.css" type="text/css" media="print"></link> 2) make a copy of maven-andromda.css and call it maven-andromda-pr.css You have to modify some of the entries. Get rid of all information not interesting when printing. Change (not add) the above items #banner { display : none; } ... #leftColumn { display : none; } ... #bodyColumn { background-color: #fff; padding: 20px 25px 25px 10px; margin: 0; } ... #breadcrumbs { display : none; } -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.andromda.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
