Leandro Hermida commented on EJB-25:
------------------------------------

Hello,

I am not sure if this is completely optimal. Why if I set the tagged value
@andromda.persistence.foreignkey.constraint on each of my association ends does
it not use *exactly* what I wrote when generating the @JoinColumn annotations?
It keeps putting "_ID" afterward my tagged value but I thought that if one is
using a tagged value you would want a full override and control.

> EJB3: ManyToMany Association generates JoinTable with identical colum names

> Priority: Minor

>
> When modelling an unidirectional ManyToMany association the EJB3 cartridge is
> generating the following JointTable annotation for the property:
> @javax.persistence.JoinTable (
> ...
> joinColumns = [EMAIL PROTECTED](name = "ID")},
>         inverseJoinColumns = [EMAIL PROTECTED](name = "ID")}
> )
> The column names should be named different (easily just adding a 1 and 2
> respectivly to the EntityEmbeddable.vsl template) or let the name depend on a
> tagged value or the association ends.
