actually, I was more thinking about an issue-tracker like JIRA, but then more 
timesheet-oriented



if you are really thinking of only 1-2 attributes per entity (which would 
tremendously cut the amount of business logic too) I think I could write a 
first working version of that app in a day, I've done more complex things in 
the span of a single day :-)



the customization and security stuff would take extra time depending on what 
exactly you're expecting; a simple security solution is also very easy to 
implement (simple JAAS: 1 hour)
