It is working as good/bad as > 2.6.17. Dmitry and Ian are working on tosa kernel with 2.6.23 version, Actually we are working on 2.6.24-rc6 git. Most of patches are intrusive enough, so they aren't suitable for stable branch. THE problem of tosa is suspend/resume. I would recommend checking if it's at least partially fixed by using current wm97xx support from git.wolfsonmicro.com or falling back to wm97xx-lg7-r0 which was used for 2.6.17 and adapting it to 2.6.23 (trivial IMHO). Unfortunately I won't be able to do this for a week or two, my tosa is currently highly customised to help develoment and I don't want to loose that. > and probably nobody is working on the 2.6.17 version (please speak up > otherwise). So I guess there is no objection to dropping 2.6.17. > However, for the safety of mind, I would suggest to drop 2.6.17 until > tosa 2.6.23 reaches maturity. 2.6.17 was working for tosa last time I checked and had less stability problems with respect to suspend/resume. So maybe we can fallback to it. -- With best wishes Dmitry _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-devel
