I use it with VideoCD encoded material - the driver can do the rotation more or less with no performance penalty. It can also change the resolution of the frame buffer device to get full screen output. VideoCD has MPEG-II audio, which is stereo and OK quality. MP3 audio should work fine too. A command line like this gives good results: mplayer -vo pxa -vm -double -quiet -framedrop -noaspect <file> 320x240 MPeg4 video (DivX etc) works well too, and some WMV files, unless they have one of the audio encoders which use floating point. I hope at some point soon to get 16:9 format full resolution working (640x360), as that would look pretty good, but it's really pushing the CPU available. Please let me know how you get on with the frame buffer, as I'm worried it only works for me and Graeme (XorA)!
