After I was finally able to boot linux-rp-2.6.23 kernel, but from SD
card, the output of 'pccardctl ident' is:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# pccardctl ident
Socket 0:
product info: "SAMSUNG", "WLAN CF Card(SWL-2350)", "", ""
  manfid: 0x0250, 0xb001
  function: 6 (network)
Socket 1:
  product info: "TRANSCEND", "TS1GCF133", "", ""
  manfid: 0x004f, 0x0000
  function: 4 (fixed disk)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~#

The card is identified during boot sequence, but too late to be used
as root filesystem:

...

pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 1
pcmcia: registering new device pcmcia1.0

I still want to have root FS on CF, so that I can use the SD slot for
another device. Any idea how to boot from the CF?
