FYI, SDHCs are not compatible with Windows-based hx4700s, but as far as
I've seen on the spec sheets, the only difference with standard SDs and
SDHCs is the protocol used, so as with Linux everything is that much
easier, SDHCs work great.

As for the thread, I boot my hx4700 from a CF card (kernels and bootmenu
are stored there) and then I can choose between a standard flash-based
system or an SD-based system. I mainly use the SD root filesystem,
leaving the internal flash alone; I keep the flash filesystem incase
anything bad happens to the card, but so far; so good.
