Hey guys,

I followed the instructions on
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/building-angstrom and have successfully
managed to build Angstrom images for the h5000. My results are located in
/usr/local/share/oe/org.openembedded.stable/tmp/deploy/glibc/images/h5000 and
appear as follows:

Angstrom-base-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-h5000.rootfs.jffs2
Angstrom-base-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-h5000.rootfs.tar.gz
Angstrom-base-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-h5000-testlab
Angstrom-console-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-h5000.rootfs.jffs2
Angstrom-console-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-h5000.rootfs.tar.gz
Angstrom-console-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-h5000-testlab
Angstrom-x11-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-h5000.rootfs.jffs2
Angstrom-x11-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-h5000.rootfs.tar.gz
Angstrom-x11-image-glibc-ipk-2007.12-r18-h5000-testlab
base-image-h5000.jffs2
base-image-h5000.tar.gz
console-image-h5000.jffs2
console-image-h5000.tar.gz
reflash.ctl
startup.txt
x11-image-h5000.jffs2
x11-image-h5000.tar.gz
zImage-2.6.21-hh20-r16-h5000.bin

What I am attempting on doing is running Angstrom (for h5000) on Qemu for
Linux. I was hoping it would be as simple as running the following command:

qemu-system-arm -cpu pxa255 -pflash console-image-h5000.tar.gz -kernel
zImage-2.6.21-hh20-r16-h5000.bin

but it doesn't seem to produce anything but a Qemu screen with no output. Has
anyone had any success with such a configuration? Oddly enough, when I do
qemu-system-arm -M ?, it does not output any HP machines (specifically the
h5500 or anything in the h5000 series) but only Sharp Zaurus machines (akitz,
spitz, connex, etc).

I guess what it boils down to is, has anyone created Angstrom images targeted
for the H5000 running on Qemu for Linux?

Thanks for any replies!
