I think it's not so hard to find in the web the pin assignment by the
battery name/model.

Just a guess. USB provides max 500mA current at 5V. When I tried to use
400mA power supply it didn't work - the actual voltage dropped to
~3.5V under the load. Then I've found a 700mA adapter, and that one has
charged the phone's battery.
