We have reports about same behaviour on SL-C700. Seems there is problem with insufficient memory for kexec'ing kernel. Can you move original kernel on SD to /boot/zImage.backup and place kexecboot's zImage instead? Just to check that kexecboot can kexec that kernel. This should work and you will get kexecboot menu again. Please report any outcome. > Furthermore, I do not understand how the selected Linux knows its root > partition. Is it automagically provided by kexecboot or should I write > a file (boot.cfg?)? kexecboot provide root, rootfstype and rootwait tags for kernel. But you can override this in boot.cfg by APPEND directive. -- Yuri Bushmelev _______________________________________________ Angstrom-distro-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-users
