I'm not sure to understand.
Is there a new updater.sh for sl-c700? Or are you looking at a way to
provides jffs2 images compatible with the legacy updater.sh?

Yes. My needs are quite simple: only PIM + mail + ssh.
Furthermore, it's the reason why I'm interested in kexecboot:
- a console only in the mtd2 partition;
- a more rich PIM oriented system in SD card.

I will try this tonight (GMT+1).

The initial matter was to have a fresh kernel. The matter is running a
2.6.24 kernel with 2.6.26 system: loadable modules are not found.

A question I suggest to add to FAQ (I will do it): with narcissus, how
can I prepare a zImage.bin for updater.sh? Narcissus provides a single
file. Is there an associated repository somewhere?
