I gave up trying to get any altboot to work on my c860. It is highly confusing as you read that this kernel works and that one doesn't, on the internet, and try to follow links to Angstrom releases that supposedly work, only to find they are no longer there. I never got a single online builder rootfs to work either, though I think the idea is great. Sadly, I've gone back to an old pdaXrom. It works and has most of the features I want.
