Hello, (sorry, newbie on Angstrom, please forgive me if it is a silly question)
i have a question about the Angstrom Repository available under: http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/repo/ Can you give general info about versions in this repository ? Does it contain old or up-to-date versions ? Special interest is e.g. the following package: http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/repo/?pkgname=ruby There is a ruby version 1.8.7. I found in Internet that there are already newer version, like 1.9.1 or even 1.9.2. There is also mentioned "Ångström 2010". Is it possible to get newer version without compiling myself ? Is there perhaps a different repository, which contains newer version ? Or is there perhaps a reason why 1.8.7 is last version (e.g. incompatibility) ? Is there perhaps a help page which shows the work-flow of the Angstrom repository ? Can i e.g. submit a new version ? Must i then build it for all given ARM families ?
