FYI:

Zulip is the new tool to be used instead of jabber for the IETF,
starting to be officially used @IETF114.

Service is via web: zulip.ietf.org or via downloadable app from www.zulip.com. 

Login is via datatracker account, so no separate accounts needed/possible.

The channels on zulip (called streams) are mapped to existing jabber
channels (for a while i guess).

Seems to be a quite good tool after quickly checking it.
