Hi all, In our latest cBRSKI draft we have included a request to IANA to register the "+cose" media type suffix. This is used in turn to construct the "application/voucher+cose" media type. Because some people here in the COSE WG may be interested in this; I'm bringing this to your attention and soliciting feedback - if any - until January 19th. Details are below.
Motivation: using a +cose suffix was felt to be more specific and appropriate than using only the +cbor suffix. Multi-suffix was also considered (+cose+cbor) but not pursued because this isn't formally enabled yet and is under heavy discussion. Other COSE-based data formats can also benefit from the +cose suffix in the future. It allows much better diagnostic viewing experience of a Voucher in future media-type-viewers that know about +cose, compared to using +cbor.
