Dear AFRINIC Members, I refer to Court Order SC/COM/MOT/000082/2025, pursuant to which I have been appointed as the Receiver of the African Network Information Centre (AFRINIC) Ltd. My mandate is to oversee the election process and the constitution of a new Board in accordance with AFRINIC's Bylaws.
I wish to reassure AFRINIC Members and the African Internet Community that preparations for the election are progressing within the framework of the Bylaws. Once all necessary elements have been finalised, we will provide you with detailed information regarding the election process. Please be assured that AFRINIC's operations continue to run smoothly. I acknowledge the concerns raised regarding the allocation of IP resources and understand the delays experienced due to factors beyond our immediate control.
