Event: 'Madison Liberty' 5k Description: Are you a distance runner (or walker) as well as a libertarian? Then do a Saturday road trip to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley (Harrisonburg, to be exact) to help out our libertarian students of Madison Liberty at a 5k fundraising run/walk! The Minuteman 5k is a 5 kilometer run/walk Sponsored by the Madison Liberty club. Race start is at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5th, 2009 at Festival Conference Center lawn, on the JMU East Campus. Registration is race-day only, from 8:30-8:55 a.m. The registration fee is $5.00 (nonrefundable). Proceeds will benefit the club. Checks should be made payable to 'Madison Liberty'.
