Colleagues,

We're finally here, the day before Election Day. Our candidates and
volunteers have put a LOT of hard work into this campaign season. We've put
out thousands of door hangers, spent hours handing out fliers and talking
to our friends; driving yard signs across counties has become some peoples'
default Sunday afternoon activity! I and a number of others can tell you
from personal experience: it's been paying off.

People are hearing us, people are excited. Robert Sarvis, our gubernatorial
candidate is polling at record high numbers, numbers that never faltered as
we have come closer to November 5th. The reactions our Delegate candidates
and volunteers have received while canvassing has been phenomenal.

And you know what? The other guys are now scared.

You may be peripherally aware of the current smear campaign against Robert
Sarvis; maybe you got an email from "Virginians who love Liberty" or some
generic name; maybe you got an email from a Mr Laze exclaiming "this
Libertarian is breaking ranks and voting for Sarvis!"

I got some of these, and laughed.

These folks sending out these exclamations are not Libertarian Party
members, but are part of the scared Republican machine that's kicking into
high gear. Part of the same smear campaign that's trying to paint Sarvis as
"not libertarian enough", or lying about creating new taxes. We all know
that's completely
bogus<http://barticles.blogs.timesdispatch.com/2013/11/01/cuccinelli-is-no-libertarian-sarvis-is/>.
Robert Sarvis is blowing away expectations with his rational, down-to-earth
demeanor, and true solutions <http://robertsarvis.com/issues>.

As a colleague of mine always says, "it's not about this election, it's
about the next election." The fact that we've ruffled so many feathers this
year is a SIGN OF OUR SUCCESS! Voting for one candidate "because Virginia
just can't have the other guy" is ridiculous. Both of the big parties will
both grow government. If liberty-minded activists want to work within the
two bigger parties, they should work on getting better candidates instead of
lying about
ours<http://reason.com/blog/2013/10/29/no-sarvis-isnt-costing-cuccinelli-the-vi>
.

The best part of all - your vote actually matters if you vote for
Sarvis. If the LPVA gubernatorial candidate gets 10% of the vote, we
earn major
party status in Virginia. This will save us thousands of dollars in the
long run, and enable us to run more candidates in the future. See this

Robert's wife Astrid on what this means for Virginia in the long run.

Don't forget to vote tomorrow. We have a number of amazing
candidates<http://lpva.com/HTML/ourCandidates.php> running
this year. Vote for them. Vote for freedom.

If you have any questions about Robert Sarvis, any of our Delegate
candidates, or the Libertarian Party, please feel free to email. I'm taking
off work today and tomorrow for the Northern Virginia GOTV effort, and have
my phone (and charger!) with me. If you want to help hand out Sarvis fliers
at polling places, let me or one of the SCC members know, we'll get you in
touch with the right people who can give you lit, time, and place.
