</lurk> +1 (no surprise here, eh?) I think this should be promoted in some form to an abstract goal and guideline for Ant2. I am not opposed to making life easier for novices, and I do agree in the ideal world jars would not overlap and always be compatible, but I do strongly believe that there should always be some means provided for those who know what they are doing to deal with real world issues. The way need not be easy, but it should not require modifying sources from cvs or the images produced by unpacking a distribution. <lurk> - Sam Ruby
