the second task is a ejb-jar task for OpenEJB.
i created two additional tasks for OpenEJB that allowes people to start/stop a OpenEJB server.
Have you looked at the <serverdeploy> task that exists in Ant 1.5. I recommend you refactor your work to fit into that framework and we would then likely accept it.
do you need/want the source of those task?
As for the XEP task - I'm not sure. Perhaps its best home is with the XEP tool you're wrapping.
