Hi,
After my last message I moved my JRE stuff out of the way, and reinstalled
the JDK. A bit of fiddling later and Ant was working, though no picking up
the extension classes my code needed. So I copied the contents of my old
\ext into the newly created one - and the classdef not found error was back.
Removed ant.jar from the \ext dir and now everything works. Rather bizarre
behaviour - the addition of something to classpath knocking something else
out. Still, I'm happy now.
