President Saddam Hussein chairs meeting Baghdad, Jan. 7, INA President Saddam Hussein received Sunday deputy
chairman of Iraq's Command of Arab Ba'th Socialist Party Izzat Ibrahim, member
of Iraq's Command Qusay Saddam Hussein, Minister of State for military affairs
Abdul- Jabar Shanshal, Defence Minister Sultan Hashim Ahmed and members of the
General Command of Iraqi Armed Forces. The attendance congratulated President Saddam Hussein on the 81ST anniversary of the establishment of the valiant army of Iraq on January 6, 1921. The attendance wished the President good health and prayed for achieving victory. During the meeting, a number of fighters brought to the mind the heroic deeds achieved in Qadissyat Saddam (Iraq-Iran war) and Um el-Ma'arik battle.
