Kirtzkhalia Georgia, Tbilisi: Georgia is ready to offer its logistical base and military infrastructure for the peacekeeping operation in Afghanistan. The issue will be discussed today at the informal meeting of NATO defense ministers and partners in Istanbul. At the meeting, which will be opened by NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Georgian Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaia will provide information on Georgia's participation in the peacekeeping operation in Afghanistan.
