I use 8ft tall High tensil Dear fence with graduated twisted blocks (small rectangles at the bottom and progressively larger until waste height) with great success. The fence has been in for 4 years now and not one Deer has breached or jumped it. The Turkeys get in but have difficulty figuring out how to exit. Electricity has not been necessary.
