Maybe someone on the Swap List will sell you some keycaps from a scrapped IIe. Or try finding a parts IIe at a local computer recycling place. Luckily this is the most common and least collectable A2 so you shouldn't have a hard time finding parts. > 2) The Franklin Ace 500 doesn't seem to be working. If the power supply was dead you probably wouldn't even be able to turn the computer on and/or there would be a clicking sound from it when you tried. If it is only a bad floppy the computer should still power on. If not first try disconnecting the floppy to see if for some strange reason it is shorting or something. If it does power up with the floppy connected it may just be dirty and need a round with a cleaning disk. -+-+-+- RPM -- Apple2list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Apple2list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/apple2.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/apple2list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
