Let me amplify what Mike said.  To run GS/OS, you really need more than 1 
MEG of RAM. 4MEG is quite adequate, and 8 MEG is nice. 

Even if you do get it to boot with the 1 MEG card, it will be very 
frustrating to you.  (Like running Mac OS X or Win2K with less than 64MB 
of RAM)
