I just knew this mail list would be an excellent source of information :)

Do I need a special memory expansion board to add more than 1meg, or is it
simply a matter of the size of RAM chips that are installed in the sockets?

If it is just a matter of the size of the chips, where would I be able to
find the ones I need?

(the memory boards I have are Apple branded "Apple IIGS Memory Expansion"
other identifying numbers/markings can be provided, 8 ram chips onboard, 24
empty sockets)
