I suppose it depends on how well made the cable is. SCSI has limits on how long a SCSI chain can be (power attenuation?) and the degree of shielding needed.
If the card has a 25 pin connector and the drive has the same, then the "normal" means would be to use a 25 pin SCSI cable. That is what it is designed for. If you don't find what you need, I have a drawer FULL of various kinds of SCSI cables/adapters.
