What is the bridge to be cut? Could it be possible to obtain an image of the new 32 Kb ROMs, burn them in 27xx EPROM chips, and use them to replicate the original upgrade? I'm very interested, not only because the 3.5" support, but also for the fix to the serial port bug (the one that doesn't let serial ports operate at speeds higher than 300bps with many devices, included modern PCs).

The //c+ has an internal 3.5 800k drive. The older //c's had a 3.5 rom
upgrade and a trace had to be cut on the logic board. The dealers had
3.5 stickers to place on the case to denote the upgraded rom. I have
done 100's of these 3.5 upgrades while I worked as an Apple level one
technician.
