The same seller on ebay has a low number Apple // board for sale. So far he has
28 bidders and the price was up to $1028.00 when I looked. One thing he may or
may not know is that Apple made 7 revisions of the // logic board. You have to
remove the cpu and the revision is silk screened under the socket on the board
. I also own all 7 revisions of the // logic board. My earlier // logic boards
have the same green slots for the i/f cards. I will be happy to offer the
earlist revision Apple // logic board open for bids. I will even throw in an
Apple //+ Rom board as part of the sale. Any takers ?

Subject: Re: Apple I computer for sale on eBay
No way you are a nutcase :-) . I would bid, too, if I had *enough* money, as
all of us, I think. After all, an Apple I is an Apple I, and this is in
perfect shape. But I would have to have *a lot* of money (maybe be a
millionaire?) to bid for such an expensive item knowing that its price is three
or four times what I consider to be its real value.
No sane person would mortgage his/her house to buy a vintage computer.
Anyway, yesterday I watched an stock Macintosh Classic (eBay item
#5220076184) go for a little more than 80 Euros (about $100!), so I'm starting
to believe that everything is possible in eBay... :-(
