But now : you've got my attention :) If you convert it on the fly to wav, then I am sure with a 4 or 8 MB ram card available, it could, but would have to buffer as a FIFO configuration. If you've ever had a sound card on a PC that uses ram incorrectly, there is a short pause while the buffering begins the next bank of code. With sound cards that have their own caceh ram, there is no pause. One would need to be built for the IIgs in order for it to work efficiently, but it can be done. BTW, the Mockingboard clones go on sale this week, or next, so watch the new site for them to be listed. :o) These require powered speakers as the pots are replaced with balast resistors, but there is a 2-pin header for connecting to the motherboard speaker port. And, they sound terrific. Not scratchy like the old versions.
Well, I think it would be an interesting undertaking to say the least. Perhaps an idea for a future project? :)
Count me in for one of those Mockingboard clones. I'll be sure to be checking back frequently at the website.
Also, can the No-Slot Clocks be used in an Apple //c+? The website mentions the //c but nothing about the //c+.
