An idea I had a while ago was to use the STA013 chip. I never got
farther than looking at the datasheet and reading about some other
projects, but the GS wouldn't need to do much more than stream the
data to the chip. If it doubled as a GS stereo card, maybe it would
sell (assuming the STA013 is still available). I know I'd still like
to use a GS as an MP3 player and would buy a couple.
