Any ProDOS program will run from a hard drive if it can be run from any
other media. They can't run from HFS however, which is why the GS was set
up to boot from a ProDOS volume. The major problem with HFS on the GS is
lack of backup ability, and reformatting.
(I've used HDs of various flavors for years: Syquest, ZipDrives and now
the CFFA. Never found a non-copy-protected program that wouldn't run from
the larger medias. :) )
