Regarding rarety and price for Rom01 GS'es:

Last month, I picked up 9 (that's NINE) GS CPU's from ebay from a single vendor. These are all sans cards and pretty much everything but the CPU box itself.

I paid $3 (three dollars) each for 6 working units, and $1.50 for three units that were not working for whatever reason. And since the seller happened to be local, he even drove them by my place and dropped them off.

Boy, was my wife happy...NOT.

Anyway, just a data point...
