Hi all, hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving, where applicable.
Just a quick note to let you know that, with the kind assistance of Oliver Söhlke of Berlin, Johannes (10), my son, and myself, have managed to get both our ][ and //e back to life.
So, we are in the market now for cheap beginners´ programmes, books, accessories and hints on how to enjoy our two machines which we found in a heap of Apple and Apple Mac scrap some months back. I think I sent a post back then describing the weird circumstances of their discovery. If there´s anything in your garages, basements or attics which might make a beginner happy, PLMK.
Two questions to begin with: What are the pitfalls for a newbie? Anything to be avoided on penalty of Apple II death?
And: Does a list exist which matches serial #´s to dates of manufacture? Thanks, and kind regards, Toni and Johannes Theilmeier, Northern Germany. -- Apple2list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Apple2list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/apple2.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[email protected]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/apple2list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
