Stephen, suggestion time... Try this:
Take the power supply from #3 and install it in #`1. Does #1 boot? If not, swap the motherboard and the cards over. Then you'll have a good working machine that doesn't have a keyboard with missing key caps. Move the I/O controller to slot 6. Transfer the old I/O controller to IIe #2, and move the Microtek card to slot #1 of the motherboard that you put into #1. So, your slot allocation in the #1 IIe will be: Aux Connector: Extended 80 column card Slot 1: Slotware Microtek RV611 Slot 2: Super Serial Card Slot 3: empty Slot 4: Mouse card Slot 5: empty Slot 6: I/O controller Slot 7: empty -J >One of my Apple IIe's is suddenly not working (power light on the MB >doesn't light up) so, after looking in my other IIe's I want to put >all the cards (sans duplicates) into one machine. >Here is what I have: > >Machine 1 (non-working machine): > -> Apple IIe 80 Col/64k Memory Expansion Card > Slot 1 -> Slotware Microtek RV611 (dunno what it does off-hand) > Slot 6 -> I/O Controller 655-01-02 > >Machine 2 (works fine): > -> Apple IIe 80 Col/64k Memory Expansion Card > Slot 1 -> Super Serial Card > >Machine 3 (missing the keycaps u, j, n, m, < and needs Delete glued back > together) > > Slot 1 -> I/O Controller (see above) > Slot 2 -> Super Serial Card (same as above) > Slot 4 -> Mouse Interface > > >What is the best slot configuration to combine the various different >cards into one machine?
