: Unidisk 3.5's work on a GS, but their 4:1 interleave makes them slower on
: a GS then an Apple 3.5" drive. Unidisk 3.5's work in Enhanced //e's with
: the Liron card. Apple 3.5" drives work in an enhanced //e if you have the
: so-called "SuperDrive Card" installed, but they still only work with 800k
: disks.

Superdrives on a Superdrive card will let you do 1.4 MB
ProDOS disks in a II all the way to IIgs. Just replace
the 1.0 MB mechanism with a Teac 1.6 MB, or a Sony 2.0 MB
mechanism and you're good to go.

: Please explain the daisy-chainability issue. Both drives mentioned can be
: daisy-chained, since they both posses DB19 ports and cables. Please note
: that I am NOT talking about the steel, brick-like Disk ][ drives.

On a IIgs, connect 2 x 3.5" drives first, then 2 x 5.25 Unidisk
drives. The Disk II (steel case) drives will work anywhere with
a Disk II controller card.
