And then there's the issue with how the aqbanking backend is parsing
the returned data for valid account information. (I could live
without Vanguard access, but right now, no transactions are making it
through gnucash-hbci.) Let me know if you think the returned ofx
headers from Citibank, Chase, Ameritrade, and Vanguard are of
interest (credit card and investment only, I think I'll have a
directconnect checking account by mid summer.)

Hmm, could you maybe provide me with an example file which does not
find its
way into the appropriate account? I remember that I was perfectly
able to
import your data into QBankManager, but I don't remember whether
QBM asked me
for the destination account...
QBM always asks me to identify the proper account on every queue
execution (despite the fact that the user/account definitions have
the account information retrieved by the "Get Accounts" button in the
OFX setup dialog).
I'll send a separate message off-list with the ofx.log header
information from all my providers and a small complete log file.
By the way, is there an easy way to get QBankManager to use an
English set of accounts? (I won't need it when gnucash accepts the
directconnect stream, but I have run several long downloads into QBM.
My German vocabulary is about 5 words...)
