I agree with Steve,
When I boot to Linux and want to connect.... ppp<enter> works just fine.
And to disconnect.... killppp<enter> does the job.
IMHO, None of this needs to be touched.
\etc\ppp\chat-script
\etc\ppp\options
\usr\sbin\killppp
Just have Arachne use the ppp connection that's already setup.
If you want to... have Alt+H simply do "killppp" (or whatever the user
has named it)
But only if the user has root permisions.
