I used a version from Vitex (I still think I have it somewhere) that did
NOT have this problem. The problem is extremly plain - the string isn't
initialized as "\0" IIRC.
Additionally the installation utility should read what the PATH is just
this moment with getenv("PATH") instead of poking in c:\autoexec.bat, my
autoexec.bat is one-line (running another BATch file with two parameters so
that the ramdrive can move according to if interlink was loaded or not).
The same goes for config.sys - perhaps the user has a boot-menu so that the
files= setting is diffrent when Arachne is run than in the first menu-option?
