Yes, your experiences with "zifdavis eweek servers" seem to be the
same as I get with Yahoo ... 1.66 is OK, but anything later isn't ...

Your idea about the ARACHNE.CFG file is a good one - I will e-mail
you a copy of my ARACHNE.CFG file to you a bit later (when I get
back to my other PC ;-). I should mention however, that it's not
heavily fiddled <g> ...

Incidentally, I have set up a mail account at "mail.yahoo.com.au" for
testing this stuff : username = "arachne_au", password = "browser" ...
