I respond:
I've been able to exit Arachne and other DOS Internet programs, except the PPP
and dialer itself, and return without redialing. arachne -r worked for me.
Other DOS Internet programs I've used include Lynx386, NetMail DOS, UKA_PPP,
htget, and closing that application didn't close the Internet connection.
Naturally when you close the PPP and dialer with termin, that terminates the
Internet connection.
