Hi Bastiaan,

Did you boot from a anti-virus floppy set [like FProtect]? I would do that first.

Like Roger says try a HDD diagnostic disk, either one from the HDD maker or like Ontrack.

You may find that you will have to let one of those progs "write 0's to disk" & then reformat & fdisk ... in other words start over from scratch.
