Setting mouse for the driver, auto for the protocol
does the trick. But I think that evdev is a newer and better driver for the input system of the Linux kernel. (I can be wrong of course..) So it makes be a little curious. I want evdev back.. :( nVidia problem is also quite annoying since the desktop works without 3D acceleration which results as slower performance..
