We got this error once in a while when we worked with a received document, and we deleted and rebuilt the queue but we always lost the document we were working on. I assumed that the document was faulty, and that's why it didn't reload, but I'm not sure, Ed.

HI We are using ariel 3.4 I am having problem with our ariel scanner. Often when I try to post a article to the webserver it crashes with a "gedi out of range error" and the document is not in the recived box longer. I restored the recieved queue but the document was gone. I remember I had this problem earlier and succeded to restore the document from the recived folder in the file system - but don't remember how. Are you abble to help with this? I am looking for a new scanner as I think it can be the reason to the problem and is extremely slow. We are using a HP scanjet 8270 with usb-interface. Ealier we had a very fast fujitsu scanner with scci-interface. Any suggestions for a fast scanner with document feeder? Looking forward to hear from you best regards Claus Jensen System librarian DPB/NLE Denmark _______________________________________________ ARIE-L mailing list Mail the list at ARIE-L@u.washington.edu Unsubscribe at http://www.arie-l.org#subscribers <http://www.arie-l.org/#subscribers> Archive at http://www.mail-archive.com/arie-l@u.washington.edu/
